Menopause comes in many shapes and sizes

Expert, individualised care for every stage of menopause

Menopause is a natural stage of life, but that doesn't mean it's always easy. Many women experience symptoms such as hot flushes, night sweats, mood changes, joint pain, sleep disturbance, brain fog, and changes in libido or vaginal comfort — and these can range from mild to significantly disruptive. What surprises many women is that perimenopause can begin years before periods become irregular, meaning symptoms may start earlier than expected and are sometimes missed or misattributed to other causes. Because every woman's experience of menopause is different, I take a tailored, individualised approach to care — listening carefully to your symptoms and concerns and working with you to find the management plan that best suits your body, your health history, and your goals.
Impact of Menopause

For some women, the menopause transition brings severe symptoms that interfere with their ability to function at the level they need to — whether at home or at work. Many women find themselves pulling back from their careers due to a loss of confidence, which not only affects their own progression but also deprives the workplace of their valuable knowledge and experience. At home, symptoms can affect the way women interact with their families, sometimes leading to feelings of self-doubt and tension.

Complex Menopause

I specialise in managing complex menopause presentations — working with women who have medical conditions that make prescribing Menopausal Hormone Therapy (MHT) more complex. This includes conditions such as migraine, cancer, early menopause, PMDD and other mental health conditions, previous thromboembolic disease (blood clots), and endometriosis. For women who are unable to use MHT, or who have had negative reactions to hormone therapy in the past, I also explore a range of alternative options tailored to their individual needs.
