Dr Nadya Chami

Hi, I’m Nadya and I am Obstetrician and Gynaecologist working in the Sydney CBD and Eastern Suburbs of Sydney.

I believe Obstetrics and Gynaecology is an important and sensitive area in Medicine, which requires dedication and compassion. Women are often putting their needs last after the needs of their families or workplace, so I strive to address your concerns and needs as a priority.

I graduated in Medicine in 1999 from the University of Newcastle. My specialist O&G training was completed at The Royal Hospital for Women including extra experience working in the United Kingdom.

I am currently in the process of transitioning from obstetrics to a gynaecology-only practice and am no longer taking on new obstetric patients. Whilst I will miss many elements of obstetrics, I am making this move to create more family time for my daughter.

I specialise in a wide range of gynaecological conditions, particularly menopause and abnormal cervical screening tests as well as performing minimally invasive surgery at Prince of Wales Private Hospital in Randwick.

I am a conjoint lecturer at the University of New South Wales and Notre Dame University where I teach doctors of the future. I also teach and supervise doctors who are training to become specialists.
